The new all-electric MINI Cooper is simplicity at its most charismatic. Embodying our “less is more” design approach, we’ve removed superfluous elements, and reduced, reduced and reduced some more. With its clean and flush surfaces, sleek lines and balanced proportions, the exterior has been meticulously crafted into a self-assured, striking form.
The new all-electric MINI Cooper's captivating presence is defined by its iconic front design and short overhangs. This is further embellished by the distinctive octagonal front grille and sleek circular design of the MINI LED headlights – which both perfectly underscore the modern futuristic design.
In addition to the powerful and efficient LED technology that comes as standard, optional LED headlights with extended contents are available. Via intelligent adaptive activation of the low beam function and cornering light, these ensure better illumination at the sides of the vehicle in city, cross-country and motorway traffic.
And depending on what you feel like today: chose one of the three different selectable light signatures for your all-electric MINI Cooper.

Stepping into your all-electric MINI Cooper is always a special occasion. When you approach or leave your MINI, there is a welcome & goodbye orchestration that suits your mood. This optionally includes the front and rear lights with three different selectable light signatures as well as a optional logo projection from both the passenger and the driver-side mirrors.

The beating heart and focal point of your dash is the all-new, stunningly slim centre instrument display. Using state-of-the-art OLED technology with a diameter of 240 mm and its high-quality glass lending it a distinctive, minimalist appearance. It serves as an instrument cluster as well as your onboard infotainment and assistance hub. And the circular OLED display is a world first.
We’ve kept things as simple as possible – but no simpler than that. The first thing you’ll notice inside is how clean and focused the design is – just like the iconic interior of the original classic Mini. Everything has been reduced to just the essentials, with the slim but spacious dashboard providing the backdrop for the gorgeous OLED display and five toggle switches that comprise the MINI Interaction Unit.
You can also add the optional MINI Head-Up Display that conveniently shows all your important info like speed, traffic signs and assistance systems directly in your line of sight.

Everything you need is to switch the toggle – from the parking brake to the gears to MINI Experience Modes, and much more. The five intuitive controls have been relooked and redesigned and are now even easier to reach, use, and play around with.
The fun starts the second you grip the steering wheel. We have given it a redesign, slightly reducing the size to give you an even more intense, classic-contemporary MINI go-kart feeling. And instead of a third spoke it now features a stylish, decorative fabric strap. The left control panel lets you activate the driver assistance systems, and you can operate your entertainment, Intelligent Personal Assistant, toolbelt and communication functions with the right panel.

The easiest way to charge is with a home charger that can give you up to 22 kW charging power.
Everything you need for public charging is standard equipment of your new MINI with the MINI Charging Card and the Mode 3 charging cable, and no additional hardware is needed. You can take advantage of the ever-growing number of public charging stations that are equipped with both alternating current (AC) via a Type 2 connector, and direct current (DC) via a CCS plug that gives you up to 95 kW electric power. And you benefit from attractive tariffs and charging packages.
The combination of practically-sized charging capacity and stable charging performance of your MINI ensures you can take many ways to reach your destination – and always have several charging options within reach.
Many employers have now embraced electric mobility and offer a truly modern workspace by providing EV charging for their employees. This is now seen as part of employee benefits and perks and helps with retention and workplace satisfaction. If your employer hasn’t implemented workplace charging yet, and there is space, why not suggest it could be a good move? This takes the guesswork out of your journey and lets you take control. It guides you to your destinations safely and smoothly with fully integrated EV routing. It lets you easily manage charging requirements and authenticate payments, and can provide tariff information and cost estimates for public charging stations. And it also allows you to monitor your MINI when it is connected to a charging station remotely and determine when you can depart.

The MINI App shows you remotely via your smartphone your current state of charge, available range, costs, charging time or the nearest charging station and the corresponding costs. And you can review all the charging interactions and a lot more.
With hundreds of charging point operators (CPOs) as well as high-power charging stations available via our partner IONITY, the right type of charging mode and speed is ready and waiting for you at all times.
Billing is per KW/h, and you’ll receive a monthly detailed statement of the individual charges and the corresponding costs. What's more, you'll be charging with 100% Green Energy.

A full-featured voice assistant has found its way into the cockpit of the MINI models for the first time. The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant can be activated using the greeting “Hey MINI” or by pressing the push-to-talk button on the steering wheel. Voice-controlled interaction on the circular OLED display takes the form of an animation featuring graphical elements, typography and an avatar. In terms of the display, drivers can choose between “MINI” – a stylised image of a MINI – and the new digital MINI assistant known as “SPIKE”, available as an optional extra.
The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant operate key functions of your MINI, like the navigation, telephony, the radio or even control the temperature. Driving is a breeze when you have a digital companion as well as access to a host of intelligent connectivity features that come standard, at no extra cost, that offer convenience, safety and connectivity. In conjunction with the optional MINI Connected Package you have access to an ever growing range of practical features and entertaining apps, including options for gaming, music and video streaming. You can now also look forward to a form of in-car gaming that is unique in the automotive sector.
Drivers and passengers can play so-called casual games in the AirConsole app when the vehicle is stationary. Music streaming apps like Spotify and Amazon Music have been adapted to the MINI Operating System 9 so that they integrate perfectly into the round MINI Interaction Unit, enabling MINI customers to enjoy an intuitive and visually appealing music streaming experience.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available in the MINI Operating System 9 for wireless smartphone connectivity. Besides appearing on the MINI Interaction Unit, relevant information can also be shown on the optionally available Head-Up Display.
Keeping your MINI right up to date.
You can receive free over-the-air software updates and improvements for your MINI. And depending on the country, vehicle model, equipment and vehicle condition, you might even be eligible to receive additional new functions or functional improvements free of charge on regular basis.
To achieve maximum go-kart feeling, we applied key design criteria when developing the all-electric MINI Cooper. We enhanced driving dynamics
for instance thanks to the low centre-of-gravity due to the battery placement. We achieve thrilling MINI handling by optimising weight distribution and using a direct steering ratio coupled with a small steering wheel. We boost lateral dynamics and grip by optimising tyre
width. And latest hardware and software enabled us to make handling even more playful and thrilling especially in the Go-Kart Mode.
The all-electric MINI Cooper was designed from the start to manage aerodynamic forces in the most efficient way possible. With its fully closed underbody and grille as well as its smooth, minimalistic exterior, we’d already considerably reduced drag. All MINI wheels are optimised for better aerodynamics, too. With such low wind resistance, it’s extremely efficient, so you can drive even further without needing to recharge.
Heavy traffic is a breeze with Driving Assistant Plus – all you need to do is switch on Active Cruise Control and your MINI will automatically follow the vehicle in front of you at a safe distance. And Parking Assistant, that comes as standard, identifies all potential parking spots for you, and then flawlessly manoeuvres into the one you select at the press of a button.
Maximum fun needs maximum safety. The all-electric MINI Cooper is equipped with innovative features that create a safer driving environment for you and other road users. The Active Cruise Control regulates the distance to the vehicle in front and is constantly scanning the road to identify potentially dangerous situations. Lane Change Warning will warn you if you veer out of your lane. If your MINI senses a possible collision at the rear, it will activate the hazard lights at double frequency. And the Dynamic Cruise Control keeps you MINI on constant speed for you.
There are three Driving Modes to choose from to harness the different characteristics of your all-electric MINI Cooper and suit the traffic and your current needs. Each one has their own dedicated look.
