Everything you need is a just turn of a toggle away – from the parking brake to the gears to the MINI Experience Modes, and much more. The five intuitive controls have been relooked and redesigned and are now even easier to reach, use and play around with.

GO-KART FEELING STEERING.

The fun starts the second you grip the steering wheel. Inspired by the timeless classic Mini we have given it a redesign, slightly reducing the size to give you an even more intense, classic contemporary MINI go-kart feeling. And instead of a third spoke it now features a stylish, decorative fabric strap. The left control panel lets you activate the driver assistance systems, and you can operate your entertainment and communication functions with the right panel.

FORGING NEW PATHS WITH NEW MATERIALS.

MINI is establishing a whole new aesthetic through our use of textiles. The new material we use on the dash and door panels creates an especially comfortable ambience. The fabric is high-quality and easy to clean. Heading out on an adventure in your all-electric MINI Countryman? Charging your MINI in public couldn’t be easier. You can find over 39,000 charge points at over 14,000 EV charge stations in the UK. For your peace of mind, we’ve compiled a few handy tips to help you maximise your range.

With a fully charged battery the all-electric MINI Countryman can reach a range up to 287 miles. The range will vary according to driving habits and conditions. How you drive can make a big difference to your available range and how quickly your charge is used.

MAXIMISE YOUR RANGE.

COLLECT BONUS MILES.

Driving at a steady pace, rather than frequent, foot-down acceleration, will help you optimise your range. The Green mode offers you a consumption-reducing setting. It helps you get used to using the pedal to stay in a effecient range. Ifthe efficiency meter strip glows green, you're doing fine. If you speed up too quickly, it'll turn grey. It elevates your efficiency since the start of your journey - and shows you how many bonus miles you've collected.

EV ROUTING.

MINI Navigation takes the guesswork out of your journey and lets you take control. It guides you to your destinations safely and smoothly with fully intergrated EV routing. You can easitly keep track of your available charge and search for charge points (CP) in our charging network or other charge point operators (CPO) with the MINI App. You can filter by plug type, charging speed, authentication option and CP availability. And you can also display a route to your desired charging station and start navigating straight from the MINI App. You can also view and update your account and billing information as well as read reviews and rate a CP.

A FEW TIPS.

CHARGING AT HOME.

You don’t have to install a home charger but it is the easiest way to charge your all-electric MINI Countryman. A Flexible Fast Charging cable and an adapter that is compatible with both domestic and industrial power sockets, offering charging speeds of up to 11 kW, is optionally available. If you are interested in installing a home charger from one of our partners, we would be happy to help you locate a specialist in your area.

CHARGING ON THE GO.

Everything you need for public charging is included as standard equipment with your new MINI. With the MINI Charging Card and the Mode 3 charging cable no additional hardware is needed. You can take advantage of the ever-growing number of public charging stations that are equipped with both alternating current (AC) via a Type 2 connector, and direct current (DC) via a CCS plug that let charges your vehicle with up to 130 kW electric power. And you benefit from attractive tariffs and charging packages.

The combination of practically-sized charging capacity and stable charging performance of your MINI ensures you can take many ways to reach your destination – and always have several charging options within reach.

CHARGING AT WORK.

Many employers have now embraced electric mobility and offer a truly modern workspace by providing EV charging for their employees. This is now seen as part of employee benefits and perks and helps with retention and workplace satisfaction. If your employer hasn’t implemented workplace charging yet, and there is space, why not suggest it? It could be a good move. There may well be grants, rebates and other incentives available for your company to fund a program and charging infrastructure. 

TAP INTO THE POWER OF THE MINI APP.

The closest public charging station is always only just a tap away. Find it through the MINI app and send it directly to your MINI’s navigation system. This takes the guesswork out of your journey and lets you take control. It guides you to your destinations safely and smoothly with fully integrated EV routing. It lets you easily manage charging requirements and authenticate payments, and can provide tariff information and cost estimates for public charging stations. And it also allows you to monitor your MINI when it is connected to a charging station remotely and determine when you can depart.

DRIVE A DIFFERENT MINI EVERY TIME. TRY A NEW INTERIOR OR SEVEN.

Create a unique, multi-sensory experience for you and your passengers. Immerse yourself in different extraordinary worlds inside the all electric MINI Countryman. Each mode follows its own creative design. And with the Personal mode you can even use the MINI App to select your own images from your smartphone gallery for the background of the MINI Interaction Unit. The colours of the ambient lighting and the optional Head-Up Display automatically adjust to suit the images you select. So indulge and bring your interior to life.

MINI INTELLIGENT PERSONAL ASSISTANT – VISUALLY ACCOMPANIED BY MINI.

A full-featured voice assistant has found its way into the cockpit of the MINI models for the first time. The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant can be activated using the greeting “Hey MINI” or by pressing the push-to-talk button on the steering wheel. Voice-controlled interaction on the circular OLED display takes the form of an animation featuring graphical elements, typography and an avatar. In terms of the display, drivers can choose between “MINI” – a stylised image of a MINI – and the new digital MINI assistant known as “SPIKE”, available as an optional extra. 

The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant operate key functions of your MINI, like the navigation, telephone, the radio or even control the temperature. Maybe there’s something you need to know about your journey. The weather. Or you have a special request. Even if it’s just for a little chat, or you want to hear a joke.

You can now also look forward to a form of in-car gaming that is unique in the automotive sector. Drivers and passengers can play so-called casual games in the AirConsole app when the vehicle is stationary.

Music streaming apps like Spotify and Amazon Music have been adapted to the MINI Operating System 9 so that they integrate perfectly into the round MINI Interaction Unit, enabling MINI customers to enjoy an intuitive and visually appealing music streaming experience.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available in the MINI Operating System 9 for wireless smartphone connectivity. Besides appearing on the MINI Interaction Unit, relevant information can also be shown on the optionally available Head-Up Display.

Keeping your MINI right up to date.

You can receive free over-the-air software updates and improvements for your MINI. And depending on the country, vehicle model, equipment and vehicle condition, you might even be eligible to receive additional new functions or functional improvements free of charge on a regular basis.

CLEVER COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE.

Our designers have come up with a smart Travel & Comfort System that allows various attachments to be quickly and easily put into place. Holders for your tablets, clothes hangers and universal hooks for bags can be securely attached to the backrests of the front seats. There are clever foldable cup holders – and now folding tables can also be attached as work or storage surfaces.

FOLD DOWN AND LOAD UP.

The highly versatile MINI Countryman is more than generous when it comes to space. It has space for five long-legged adults, and the back seats fold to offer extra boot space or legroom. You can create even more legroom or cargo space by sliding the rear bench back or forwards by as much as 13 cm. When developing the all-electric MINI Countryman, we applied key design criteria to achieve maximum go-kart feeling. The lower centre-of-gravity due to the battery placement enhances driving dynamics. We achieve thrilling MINI response by optimising weight distribution and using a direct steering ratio coupled with a smaller steering wheel. And the latest hardware and software enabled us to make handling even more playful, especially in the Go-Kart Mode.

ALL4 ALL-WHEEL DRIVE.

The ALL4 all-wheel drive system distributes power dynamically between all wheels, giving you terrain-tackling traction and grip on all surfaces. And if it detects any loss of traction due to wet or icy surfaces, it shifts power dynamically as needed. This lets you take advantage of the rugged, adventurous nature of your all electric MINI Countryman. So whatever the forecast holds, you stay in control – and in your element.

DRIVING ASSISTANCE.

The optional Driving Assistant is like having an extra pair of eyes. It warns you about vehicles in the “blind spot” and if needed actively supports steering your MINI back into the lane. In addition it helps detecting crossing traffic behind you when you are reversing with your MINI. Driving Assistant Plus includes camera and radar-based driver assistance features. It makes getting to your destination more relaxing by automatically maintaining your desired speed, lane, and distance to the preceding vehicle. 

With the Driving Assistant Professional you can lean back. It assists you in all kinds of traffic situations without taking control away from you.
